For all find what they truly seek.

See, He is coming in the clouds and every eye shall see Him, even those who pierced Him, and His coming will mean bitter sorrow to every tribe upon the earth. So let it be! Revelation 1:7

There will be that moment when it all becomes clear. When we know longer see through a glass darkly. And in that moment all perspective will snap into place, and the misbegotten priorities and broken motives and rotted treasures on earth will stink as filthy menstrual rags.

And there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

And there comes that moment in Lewis’s Last Battle, When Aslan roars, Now it is time!" then louder, "Time!" and then so loud it could have shaken the stars, "TIME." The door flew open.”

And belief in this moment should put urgency in my step. My mom gets it. Last night she was talking about the two little kids that she tutors once a week. And the little boy is smart but not very motivated and lives with his grandparents and there are seven kids in his family and his fingernails are always dirty and he always smells unkempt. And she wonders about the life he will lead, the drugs he will take, the fights he will get in, the end of his journey. And oh she longs to touch his life with Jesus. But she doesn’t know what to do except buy him books for Christmas and tell him that his name Elijah is in the Bible. And show up every week after swimming at the health club.

At present we are men looking at puzzling reflections in a mirror. The time will come when we shall see reality whole and face to face! At present all I know is a little fraction of the truth, but the time will come when I shall know it as fully as God now knows me!

LORD God may I live today in Your reality, You Who Knows. The Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End. Yes, the time will come when I shall see reality whole and face to face.  But until then, may I look to You, be led by You, and speak what You lay on my heart.

Who is and Who was and Who is coming, the Almighty.

So be it.
