You speak in my heart
and say, “Seek My face.”
Your face, Lord, will
I seek.
Gather
Perhaps words will fail
As I gather them to speak
Your power and love.
But Your word will not fail.
The Lord is my light and my salvation—
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life—
Whom shall I dread?
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life—
Whom shall I dread?
One thing I have asked
of the Lord, and that I will
seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord in His presence all the days of my life,
To gaze upon the beauty, the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple. Psalm 27:1, 4
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord in His presence all the days of my life,
To gaze upon the beauty, the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple. Psalm 27:1, 4
Deep in my heart I know I do believe
We shall overcome
Some day.
I
pray LORD that my thoughts and soul and spirit will dwell in Your presence
today… may I be still in Your refuge, gazing at Your beauty, Your loveliness,
and Your majestic grandeur.
Deep
in my heart, I know I do believe.
You have overcome.
Overcome.
Past Perfect tense.
